Opening the Doors: Your Direct Line to the Workshop

For several months, we have been spending most of our time in the barn. It has been a steady process of reviewing fabric swatches, technical drawings, and testing prototypes in the field to see how they perform. We have talked about doing things our own way, and today we are opening the doors to show you what that looks like.

The Mountain Grit Pre-order Store is now live.

This is not intended to be just another shopping site. Think of it as a digital extension of our workshop floor, providing a direct connection between our production and the people who actually use the gear.

Why Pre-order?

The traditional clothing industry often relies on overproduction and guesswork. Companies often manufacture large quantities, hope they sell, and then discount the remains. We are not interested in that cycle.

By opening for pre-orders, we can focus on quality instead of chasing volumes. It allows us to produce exactly what is needed and ensures that as much gear as possible has a home before it even leaves the factory. This approach removes the need for seasonal sales and heavy discounting, which means we can put those resources back into the equipment itself.

$0 Today: A Matter of Trust

We believe that if we are asking for your support early, we should earn it. That is why you do not pay anything today.

When you place a pre-order, you secure your size and color in our upcoming production run. We only send out a payment link when the gear is finished, double-checked, and ready to ship from our warehouse.

A Shared Production Flow

Mountain Grit is an ecosystem. Whether you are an individual rider looking for a new technical kit or one of our partner dealers stocking up for the season, you are part of the same flow.

By unifying our orders, we can maintain a high and consistent standard. We treat every garment as the technical equipment it is, built to work in the backcountry, at the job site, and everywhere in between.

The First Collection

In this first phase, we are showing the core of our Backcountry lineup, the gear named after the tools we rely on:

Anvil, Wrench & Rivet

Heavy duty shells and technical bibs built to handle the harshest environments and hold your kit together when the terrain gets rough.

Vise & Bolt

Technical garments designed to provide great dexterity in the field without sacrificing protection.

Hex, Clamp & Sledge

Essential hand protection providing the grip and functionality needed to keep you moving.

These are not fashion pieces in a typical sense. They are tools designed to help you stay out and enjoy the winter, even when the weather is not on your side.

The Road Ahead

We are currently in the final development stage and moving toward assembly and stitching. On every product page, you will find our best estimate for when that specific gear will be ready for distribution. We will keep the doors to the workshop open and provide updates along the way.

Welcome to the start of something solid.

Honest. Durable. Purpose-built.
